Help - Loading and Saving Courses

Only registered users can save courses. Registering is free.

Registering

Its easy to become a registered user. Simply click on 'Register' (on the 'Courses' tab within the course creator), select a unique Username, enter your email address and select a password. Then click 'Create User' and you will become a registered member of BikeRouteToaster.com.

Logging In

To login simply click on 'Login' (on the 'Courses' tab within the course creator) and then enter your Username and password. If you select the 'Remember me next time' you will be remembered the next time you visit BikeRouteToaster.com and won't need to login again.

Saving a Course

You must be logged in to save a course.

To save a course simply enter a Course Name in the 'Save Course' section on the summary tab. The course will now appear in your list of saved courses.

If you want to share the course with your riding friends then select the 'Make Public' checkbox before saving the course. When the course is saved a URL will be displayed. You can then email the URL to your friends and when they click on the link your course will be displayed.

Loading a Course

To load a previously saved course simply click on the 'Load' button next to the relevant course in your list of saved courses. The course will then be loaded.

Deleting a Course

To delete a previoulsy saved course simply click on the 'Delete button next to the relevant course in you list of saved courses. The course will then be deleted.

Creating a course from a GPX file

Courses can be created from existing GPX files. Simply select the GPX file that you want to create a course from and click 'Create Course'. Courses can be created from GPX files containing tracks or routes.

If the uploaded track does not contain time data then this will be added automatically based on the current settings on the map page. If the uploaded track does not have elevation data or you would like to recalculate the elevation data then check the 'Add Height Data' checkbox before uploading.
